Some of you will be familiar with the Mona Lisa, a painting created by the mighty Leonardo, whom you may also have heard of. There are great mysteries to the Mona Lisa painting, some of which become apparent after copying the painting multiple times. I have entitled my version of this painting as Mona Lisa Cosmos. The name and colors reflect the deeper mysteries. The smile is, by the way, a misdirect. It was never about the smile (though that, ironically, is why Mona Lisa is smiling).

Working on a platinum leaf section of Creation.

24 carat gold lead and platinum adorn the completed work of Forward!

The picture is faithful to Leonardo and his cause. Which was? Understand that and you will not hesitate to buy this picture. This picture is a sacred bridge that spans time since both its ends are planted in the same place. Cross that bridge and you will arrive at the point from which Leonardo began.

"Creation"
There is a history to this picture that is as much myth as history. I choose a clear and simple title that expresses the core of what this picture means to me. Who Blake drew in the original is harder to determine. Here, DG has drawn God. The picture depicts the wonder, majesty, mystery and brilliance of creation.

"Indefatigable"
And the same spirit must we show as we march upon our destiny. (Provided, that is, it is a destiny that would delight God (which most likely is that which gives us the most joy, for if God created us, he certainly would not have done so without providing us with the seed of His intention, and we, being of Him would know this seed by the joy in our hearts at its remembrance)). If it is not I suggest you buy a copy of my print entitled "Unseated and Now Firmly Wedged in a Bog"

This is a Resonance Ball. Creating these fills me with a great joy, as does all my art, though there is something very special about creating these. It is something to do with contacting the wood, the copper, silver, gold and crushed gems in the paint. This is not to say they are not hard work to create, involving great concentration as well as fine craftsmanship.
